About Us

Best friends since high-school, Josiah and David both grew up in Minnesota, living their entire lives in the Ham Lake/Blaine area. Both being the oldest of numerous younger siblings, they were often assigned the duty of shoveling snow and doing yard work growing up and understand as much as one can about the Minnesota Seasons. 

Upon graduating High-School, Josiah began to pursue a degree in Business Administration and Economics at the University of St. Thomas St. Paul, while David began working for the state of Minnesota through the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Since joining the Minnesota Department of Transportation, David has earned his class A CDL. David has extended experience in asphalt maintenance, this includes extensive repairs on local highways, we use all sorts of pavement preservation techniques and are trained in all current technologies and materials.  including seal coating, crack filling, mastic, road painting (striping) patching and miscellaneous other resurfacings.

Eventually Josiah and David decided to come together and use all the knowledge they had accrued over the years along with their experiences of dealing with harsh Minnesota seasons in order to better serve their communities, and that's how Minnesota Asphalt was started.
